Accurate IGT
The in-game timer is only accurate to a second, however the variable this uses is much more accurate, but it rounds it down to the nearest second. This timer is nearly identical to the in-game timer, except it doesn't include the loading time before a run in the xar package (or other packages if they define the "xar.difficulty.speedrun_start" variable at any point).
As of 24/11/2024 (d-m-y) the credits also show your true IGT with milliseconds.
Installation
Start by installing the file. Now, once the zip file is installed:
- Open steam
- Select Fractal Block World in your library
- Right click Fractal Block World in the library bar or click the cogs on the right side of the bar which has the play button on it
- Select manage > browse local files
- Move the .zip file to the directory that has now opened. ( this should be [steam drive]:\steam\steamapps\common\Fractal Block World )
- Unzip the file inside of that directory. If you previously downloaded it, it will ask you to replace items. Say yes to all.
If the installation went correctly, you should be able to see "Speedrun Timer" inside of your side displays in
options ( right ) > system HUD > side displays
If it shows up, the installation went correctly and you now have the accurate timer.
