This is just a random list of things I've taken note of while playing, if you have any other things you want me to add, feel free to message me!
  • Save Warping: Used in world record all the time to save time. Just quit to the menu and you will spawn back at the last "Save Station" or "Checkpoint".
  • Sprint: After gotten the sprint up to speed, you can still turn or even stop for a second or two and still resume the sprint upon moving again.
  • Crouch Jump: Fastest movement in Crouch Sections.
  • Auto Fire XMP: Before getting the "XMP Charger", you can hold down the XMP button and it will automatically fire as fast as it can, even while you keep shooting your beam.
  • Charge Stays When Swapping Weapons: You can charge one beam, switch to another and now that new beam is charged.
  • Wall Jump Boosts: If you Wall Jump without holding a directional key, you will get a big boost. Be ware that once you hold a direction during the boost, it will be lost, so avoid moving in the air until after the speed is gone.
  • Charged Green Beam Can Be Detonated: You can actually charge up and shoot the beam, then fire another uncharged shot at that charged shot, and it will explode and stay for a few seconds (which it otherwise doesn't).
  • Flashing Mini Map: This indicates there is an item in the room you are currently in.
  • Door Transitions: You can move as soon as the screen fades in, so always be on the move!
  • Spin Jump Can Enter Crawling Spaces: Normally you would need to do a Crouch Jump to enter these, but if you time and position your spin just right, you can enter them.
  • Clipping Underneath Doors: You can (in very few cases) get underneath a door and Crouch Jump and get to the other side, sadly I've tested every door and there is nothing useful. The one you can use it on are already normal doors that can be opened with the base weapon.
  • Charging Beams Will Pull Enemy Drops: If you want to more easily get the drops from enemies (Health/XMP), just charge your beam and it will be pulled towards you. This is super useful for drops that are otherwise unreachable by other means!
  • XMP Charge Can Destroy The Following Objects:
Metal Doors
Falling Blocks
Moving Spikes
Floor Spikes
Lightning Lamps
  • Mouse Scroll Switches Weapons: In case you never knew, using the Mouse Scroll is another way to switch weapons other than the standard 1-5 buttons.
  • Tap vs Hold When Jumping Affects Height: The game doesn't tell you this, but if you Tap Jump you get less height than Holding Jump.
  • Save Station & Teleporter Rooms Are Indicated On The Doors: If you didn't pay attention before entering doors, you can actually see a ring of color indicating whether it's a Save Station (Green) or Teleporter (Orange).
  • Beam Warping: It is possible to shot during a transiation and have the shot appear from the other side of the room.
