Guide on Initiating Combat
Mechanics
Now usually what I do is I spam click using the sword, katana, and firebrand but that's not always the case. You see you need to hold your left mouse button in order to keep attacking without hurting your finger, that way you can easily handle enemies way quicker and efficiently
You can do that one thing in ultrakill by using the slingshot and sword, this requires timing and precision. Start by launching the slingshot's coin thingy or whatever you want to call it and attack it.
Dashing is the most important mechanic in Combat Initiation since if allows you to dodge projectiles and get away from getting jumped on by crowds, you have only 3 dashes which is kinda lame but they go back with a cooldown, do not always spam dash because of the cooldown because it will waste the stamina of you dash and it will make it inefficient for you to evade projectiles and get away from crowds.
How you can speedrun which is the main goal of this guide
Splash damage is SUPER EFFICIENT for speedruns because it takes out crowds very easily. you might reconsider the bomb, flamethrower canister, and all other upgrades which can obtain splash damage.
Subspace Tripmine
You can use this for speedruns for quite a few reasons:
- You can freeze it using the freeze ray
- You can deal TONS of splash damage to enemies
- Its overrated
Splash damage is highly recommended for speedruns and its very cool at the same time
Parrying
I didn't mention this in mechanics because it also has splash damage.
You see when you parry ranged enemies like the Gunman, and the Emerald Blaster it deals a explosion when hit on a surface, making it efficient for killing enemies.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT FINISHED IM STILL GETTING MORE TECHNIQUES SINCE I HAVENT REVIEWED MY FOOTAGE FROM MY YT VIDEOS
