New Any% and Version 72025
With the Version 72025 update bringing us Crescent Grove LV 20-25, the old Any% category has been changed to Colossus%. The new Any% category ends when defeating Valdur in Crescent Grove LV 20-25.
Because this update changed a lot of the inner workings of the game, as well as adding new areas, we decided to differentiate between the Beta 1.6.2b (and earlier versions) and Version 72025 and coming. This change is visible in a new version sub-category.
Trial of the Stars has been added!
A new category has been added for Trial of the Stars. The rules for this category are still in the making, but you are obviously allowed to run this category, and submit those runs!

Let's first start off with shamelessly promoting the Discord server for ATLYSS Speedrunning! We figured we should make a Discord server for the Speedrun community after we got questions about it, so here it is!
And then an update on the Dungeon levels.
We decided to combine the Dungeon level clear and boss categories together, and make it so that if there is a boss, you need to defeat the boss in order to clear the dungeon.
This way it's for you easier to submit runs and not worry about the sub-categories, and for us faster to verify runs! So from now on: if the dungeon has a boss (which counts for all dungeons except for SC LV 1 - 6 at this moment in time) you need to defeat the boss in order to complete the run!
For the specific rules and when the timer stops, check the level rules for Dungeon!

ATLYSS Speedrun page is set up!
Exactly one week after the release of ATLYSS on Steam, the ATLYSS Speedrun page is set up!
With it comes the 2 main categories Any% and All Quests, and the 4 level categories, one for each dungeon.
Global rules and category specific rules are set up as well. These rules, however, are bound to change in the (near) future if we, as the speedrunning community, think they should be changed.
