If that's how it's worded, that implies "Early Inferno" is a glitch of some kind imo
When the rules say "character creation is allowed" does this mean I am allowed to use a character with maxed stats as long as I haven't touched the Legend Tour yet or must I start from a blank save?
If you're willing to run it, we'll put it up after you've done so :)
If backwards compatibility was banned, I think all of my non-PS2 runs would be invalid
It seems like you'd lose time at the start of the game, then make it all back (and a lot more) by the end with how fast some enemies are staggered. Although I have never played Easy Mode, so I wouldn't know for definite
The timer starts when you pick your character, although afaik we haven't actually determined when it actually ends, whether that be selecting to fly or otherwise
Yeah, my main plan is to get the legendary weapons unlocked asap and go from there. As far as grinding money, I would say the gambling missions aren't that useful since a mission called Er Rai in Extra Chapter 2 gives 5k Gold per success and it's 1 fight rather than requiring 5 wins for a reward not equal to 25k (at least I don't think any of them give that much)
As do I, just wanted to point it out since it isn't stated in the potential rules above :P
So buying everything in all the shops wouldn't be required?
Has anyone tested to see if Wii loads are faster than GCN loads?
The only issue with it being 200% is that weapons/costumes etc are only bought once. Not sure if that would make people lean to calling it 100% or not but just making the point
Does that mean you do those races then the bosses at the very end?
Is it worth it to prioritise any certain areas for their upgrade in each stage?
My questions are:
-
Is there a consistent way to measure loadless times on console without just timing them after the run?
-
Why do you think PC and console shouldn't be split? I know the runs are the same but because loads are so much worse it means a console run will never be top of the leaderboard and I think that subconsciously de-values it in some people's eyes. I know of a fair few games that split by platform even when the runs are exactly the same purely because of load times and I personally think that seeing so many times that are faster than mine and I know I have no chance of beating unless I get a different version of the game demotivates me from running (which is why I think they should be separate, to allow new runners to see the times they can aim for rather than just the best times but also so we can more easily see the differences between platforms whilst also showing fast console times in their true light)
Is there a way to easily work out load times and remove them on non-PC runs?
