I don't think that's a good idea beacuse you could just set the pattern and get 0.5-0.3s time. And for no set seed (if it will be added) there will be a run that just gets super lucky and Will get an instant loose pattern. And that would not be good beacuse we need categories that shloud be based on skill and not luck.
Recently quite a lot runs are rejected that are done on minesweeper clones (Ms_arbiter, Minesweeper X,Vienna Sweeper). That is beacuse they all have demo function wich are small video files that can be played on the said above minesweeper clones. It's best to do no RNG manipulation runs on theese clones beacuse we are sure that nobody will slip through with a set seed run. (Of course regular windows 98/xp/7 don't require that).

So you are saying that if somebody finds something that is faster, but is harder to do it shloud be changed? I personally think it shloud be left as it is since taking out RNG is great since you don't have to sit hours grinding just to get 1 run on WR pace that you can easily make mistakes in. Here you have already seed that you can practice with no worry that something you won't expect will happen. Also you still can go for WR on random seed if you wish but expect a huuuge grind ;) ~kiraa96
In the last few days i have learned that there is a way to play on the same seed of the game. And that's NOT changing the windows time. I'm not sure how this works yet and i would like to hear from community. For now i'm not gonna verify runs with that "glitch" until i fully understand how it works. If someone could explain it to me here i would be thankfoul ~kiraa96 (edit) Runs with that will be verified just with strictier guidelines.

Yeah, and so peapole don't come agian to this post saying "then maybye ban those 1 click seeds". That would be stupid since you would be banning the fastest way to beat the game. Conclusion: The Select game won't be added since all times would be the same.
