Hi Macobra, feel free to use the information on that spreadsheet if you'd like to expand on it beyond Top 20. I'm more than happy to collab with you on filling in those gaps as well. Feel free to reach out and I can grant you editing permissions.
Because I'm not a Supermod, I can't add additional columns. But I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Early Hammer and Hand data get added.
I understand that there's a lot more information in my spreadsheet like bro RNG and routing that can easily influence a Warpless run, but I don't really expect anything to be done with that info except satisfy my personal curiosity.
If we comb through these runs, however, I wouldn't be surprised if several runs that were manually added (and verified) by the Supermods at the time are now gone because the author deleted them from Youtube/Twitch, or they are sourced from odd websites, so they will inevitably have missing data.
Sounds good, Walrus. Thanks for the update.
Speaking of the leaderboards, that reminds me: I submitted a verified 39:56 (100%) to megamanleaderboards.net 3 years ago. That time has been carried over to speedrun.com, but it is not linked to my profile here since I made this account at a much later time and the usernames are different (TEEX vs TEEX88). Is there any chance that can be corrected? Thanks in advance.
In 2014, the Japanese TASer rat926 came up with multiple iterations of the 7-1 wrong warp. In this video, he makes it past the letter, but still softlocks on the World 8 map two different ways:

Later, he modified the ACE setup through a different pipe glitch. It allowed World 8 to become accessible, despite some minor graphical hiccups. And you'll also notice at the end of this same video, there's a setup which takes you to the title screen:

I tried messing with it myself and found a pipe glitch swimming through junk tiles with Frog Mario, but unfortunately it didn't go anywhere:
