Since the second place was a tie, both of you deserve to be mods. A single mod is very uncivilized, and usually leads to 'diktature/monarchy'. I'm a bit sceptical of what pingvin will do, but it seems he really regretted his mistakes that seem to have been unintentional.

Some Rules for Speedrunners:

The timer starts when your character starts moving, and ends when you get to the loading zone of the end of the category. (End screen/1-5 portal) Runs are timed in real time, because reloading levels is rng manipulation and that should be something high-risk, high-reward. And in-game time doesn't count your reaction time for choosing buffs. If you submit a timerless run, please write timerless in the speedrun.com description, so we can easily identify which runs do we need to inspect further. Using newly discovered glitches is only allowed if you can give a method of replicating it.

Some Rules for Mods:

There should always at least be 2 active mods. A mod cannot verify their own run, because that is an easy way of accepting fake time. (Learnt that from Pingvin107's mistake) Every decision that mods make should be discussed on the forums or on the Discord server. If a mod is inactive for more than 2 weeks they should be contacted be speedrunners as well as by other mods. (On dicord, by direct messages on this site, by email, etc.) If a run was submitted with a wrong time or without a timer the mods should verify it then re-time it and edit its time accordingly instead of rejecting it. (A guide on how to do that easily is in the second half of this superhot vr video: . I use lightworks to do the same)

I think I would be well suited for the position of moderator.

1. I have a way to time timerless runs frame-perfectly by downloading the video and checking the time difference of the first frame of the run and the frame the crystal is placed.
2. I already call out problems on the site, do if I could deal with them first-hand I would be happy for that.
3. I'm fairly active and there are 3 runs of mine that aren't veryfied/denied yet. And I'm working on a speedrun guide but I have to have a specific challenge mode for collecting footage. BUT I often leave this site for multiple months (and come back to weird changes) so in that time if I were to be the only mod the site would be dead. But maybe being a mod and having something to work on related to this site would keep me from going inactive.

What bug are you talking about? The only glitch I've ever heard of on this site is DragonTurtle's 'ghost room' glitch where if you dash into a room with the assassin's first ability you have a low chanse for enemies to behave like you haven't entered the room yet. Sadly if you want to leave that 'ghist room' it will actually load, so it just wastes time.

Maybe we could use the trekking pole with the assassin's first ability. That seems to be the fastest way to move right now. I think the dwarfism challenge is better than the 1 max hp one because we can move faster and have less armour and hp.

I'm currently running multiplayer with some of my friends. I hope that we can kickstart optimization in multiplayer. I'll submit our runs, so an active mod would be appreciated.

Thank you for cleaning up the mess. I would llace my vote on Cakewalker and GoldenCreep, but Cakewalker is more active so if I can only vote one that would be on Cakewalker. I would like to be a mod too, but voting on yourself shouldn't be allowed. I would like to time runs, since I watch most new runs on the leaderboard anyways. But I usually come and binge watch/read this games' side and then leave for some months. A rule should be added tho: mods shouldn't be able to verify their own runs.

I pointed out some inconsistencies 5 months ago, I was the first one to post about pinvin107's shenanigans and you acted on both. It makes me happy that we can count on you! A question: How are we going to elect new mods?

These are the same problems I pointed out in my 'Problen with Leaderboards' post. I might have worded it bad tho. Pingvin107 is abusing his powers. He set the main category to count the in-game time, so only the newer runs would get higher on the leaderboard than older ones. He is not responding to these callouts, that means he is completely incompetent. (I might get banned saying this) I say, we should elect new mods: no voting on yourself, only one vote allowed (you seem to be the most active, so I think you deserve to be a mod the most)

Could you translate this to english please? I know that this is supposed to be written directpy to pingvin, but I would like ro be able to read most forums and discussions about soul knight speedrunning.

Also, pingvin107's Solo Full Game is weird. Why did they verify their own run? That is like noone reviewed it at all. Shouldn't the run be timed in real time? So the level restarts still count in your time. Also, they died at the end. Which is unfortunate, because the timer should stop on the frame the crystal is placed. Another thing is that their time was 9:22. So why did they submit AND verify it as a 6:40?

_Xemith's and GMYH's runs are hacked (they have instant ability recharge), I thought, you were supposed to watch, and verify/decline them. Also, are you accepting non-timed runs now?
