United StatesSJM HD got patched and there is now an IGT, however for now it will not be used or accepted due to it being too exploitable allowing you to effectively pause the timer in a few cases. For now only real-time will be accepted until the IGT is fixed.
I just added a new rule to all categories to where the in-game volume would have to be at 20% or higher to where its at least audible in the recording. Other music such as streaming on twitch is still allowed, just please make sure the volume can still be heard fairly well. This is just to make checking for splicing and possible cheated runs a lot easier.
Main reason I did this was because a 1:47 run of 1-50 was waiting to be verified and it was a rather extreme run. I wanted to check for splicing, however the volume for the game was just turned off, so I couldn't accept it due to my suspicions. It could have easily been a real run since this game isn't really that popular, but I don't want to risk a possibly cheated run getting in.

There has been a new update that added Endless mode (which I might add to have its own leaderboards) and several changes. One of these, was that you were at first able to run down the staircase in Karamari Hospital, then they fixed that. Now however, you seem to be able to run on it again and so it saves a lot of time. I am not going to reset the leaderboards, but instead all runners can easily improve their times now! A weird bug however that I noticed, is that you can't seem to kill the virus with the sword anymore.
I decided to make a discord server just for HD Renovation speedrunning, in order to be able to discuss strategies and possible time saves easily.
(Note that this is now outdated with the most recent patch that came out on October 20th) I have reset the leaderboards on Karamari Hospital for HD Renovation, purely since the top two times are unbeatable, and it seems that there aren't any more major plans for Karamari Hospital updates in the future. I will of course delete my own time, that way everybody can start over with everybody on the same current patch, up to date, and so it is actually possible to get 1st place. I understand that you might be upset that it got reset, but it makes it more fair.
