I'll mention some of the things on the CD-I Version:
-
Since Music and Effects are separate on Options, my recommendation 'Effects' should be choose.
-
I've tried to play RotR on MAME and RetroArch but the Fonts do not appear and the characters don't appear aswell, my recommendation to use Emulator: cdiemu-0.5.3-beta7.
-
If for some reason 'Music' or 'Effects' do not display, you might need vmpega.rom to be added on your 'roms' folder together with the BIOS Files.
-
Video Mode should be PAL so the game runs just like it's intended to be.
That's prety much my suggestions that i can think of right now. I was thinking of maybe showing the FPS and Run Percentage to make it more obvious because the game for some reason goes fast although it peaks 100-105% so yeah lemme know if i missed out something or what you think.
yeah could say the same thing with the CD-I Version.
before i forget, my youtube channel has been banned therefore the video is gone. I might try to speedrun again just incase
Wish you beaten my run but nice run nonetheless, the keyboard warrior part was hilarious XD
Uploaded the Video on Twitch since my Youtube Account is banned:

nice, what about the Difficulty? Will there be anything added? Or does any Difficulty Count? I probably should have mentioned that to begin with, sorry for that.
EDIT: Each Difficulty Boss has higher Health depending on how you set up Difficulty, the harder the more health and so on.
agreed.
yes, i did just like WillWagnerMusic did too.
Just like the title says, there is a SNES Version of Strike Gunner S.T.G and i just want to know if it's going to be added in the Category or in a seperate Category.
On an Actual Cartridge, you wouldn't see that quick skip. But because the RetroArch Version with FixGB Core was built differently and i guess it was in an Alpha State, making it unstable, glitchy and all sorts of stuffs. The last time i tested FixGB (without Retroarch), it doesn't have that skip thing so it's safe to assume it's only the RetroArch with FixGB Core that brings up the issue. That's why it's best to use BGB or Gambatte since it's Real Time Clock and has an accurate way to behave like a Gameboy on the Console (no skipping and all that mess).
Not sure if i answered your Question.
It's an emulator difference, the skipping cutscenes only works with Retroarch FixGB v0.82 Alpha (haven't tested other versions). It really shouldn't be allowed imo and from what i see the Rules been changed, so the only Emulators that should be used is BGB and Gambatte. I dunno if the mod gonna remove both of the Runs or just keeping them.
Thank you. I was attempting to finish the game under 5 minutes and then publish it but this run is enough for me.
