I just recently started running this and I asked myself if there is really no use for sliding in any route (other than in the specific slide places)
Alright, I tested the glitch myself yesterday, and I the difference to rolljumping is clear. Are there any new, strange routes that come with this? E.g. I tried to jump onto the big cube at the bottom right from the start to make a rolljump, sadly there's a death trigger there.
I'm not sure either, both use a mistake in the game code. I'm quite sure the dev didn't create the ability to rolljump on purpose, it's rather the acceleration of the roll kept during the jump, so that'd be an unintended feature. But! That'd mean that our times could just be copy pasted into the glitchless category since we didn't use the glitch.
To clear things up for me: In your run you void boost when resetting from one to the next level and boosting at the same time, amirite? Also, since you ran with your ping off 99% of the time, what cancels the speed given by void boost?

Can you upload a video showing the Void boost? Would help a lot

In any% Glitchless, is rolljumping allowed? I mean it's not originally intended to be used, however it's rather a bug exploit than a glitch. I:
PB of 10:56.69 waiting to be approved, just got into speedrunning. I can upload some skips if you want, experimented a lot with roll jumps.
So I started running 404Sight, and I'm kinda confused what the condition to roll is after all. I'm playing with my keyboard, and it's most consistent when I just spam roll before landing, but then I can't time the jump right because I can't get a feeling for it.
I'm really confused, to me it's completely random whether the character rolls when pressing the roll button or not.
