Hey, so I noticed that the loading time for the "Level Cleared" is faster in the top runs. How do you do this? Can you trigger it or is it RNG? Cause so far I haven't got it once. If it has to do with hardware or something like that, then I think there should be another way to time the run, since it would make it unfair for some people like me to aim for the WR, since I don't have a faster PC and so the WR becomes impossible for me to beat.
This game actually ends (it has 3 levels then it loops), so I think it would be better to just have a category for that instead of so many categories for points and highscores.
Hey, I would like to run this. Can a category be added? The game doesn't seem to have an ending, and loops are kinda short, so I think a 1k and 5k points category could be added.
Ok so I feel a bit dumb not being able to figure this out, but how do you increase the speed on this emulator? I realized the computer was printing the text way too slow, and it turned out I had to turn off sound (Apparently that increases the text speed since you don't have to wait for the sound effect lol.) Still, I'm getting around 3 seconds on every single run I did. Is there something I'm missing that makes the inputs faster? How do you get under 2 seconds on this?
Hey I wanted to run this game, but the category confuses me since there aren't any rules. What does "beat the game" mean? The game has different gamemodes and there isn't a main one, so I'm not sure what to submit.
Hey, I was going to do some runs for this game, but I'm a bit confused about some categories since there aren't any rules: What does Joint and Solo mean? What do you have to do in each of them? I understand the rest of the categories, it's just those two that confuse me.
I would like to run the full game, could there be a category for completing the championship mode (All 12 tracks) as fast as possible?
I know this game is pretty much hated but why are there no categories?
Hey, I know this is a meme game and all that stuff, but honestly I feel Drink% shouldn't be hidden as misc, and should be put as the main category instead of the meme ending one. First of all, it's the actual any%, as you have to complete the entire game, and second, there are actual gltiches and tricks in order to get a better time, so it's a run you actually have to learn and practice for it to be good. It unironically took me a lot of grind to get the WR I currently have, so I can safely say it's a legit speedrun. I would even propose to change the name of the cateogory to Any%, but maybe that's too far.
TL;DR: Drink% should be the main category and not in misc., as it's a legit speedrun and literally the true any%.
Hey, I'm trying to do some runs + learning how to do scripts and stuff, but I'm a bit confused about doing the save warp. Maybe I understood incorrectly how to perform it, but this mod has 2 maps, so the save warp can only be done from one map to another. The problem is that there isn't a location that is the same in both maps, so if I do a save from any point in map 1, and then go across the trigger to map 2, the load of the save warp will appear out of bounds, with the character unable to move and the screen bugging/showing the map 2 from outside. Given that I can't move, the game just softlocks, so I was wondering if I was doing something wrong? Is there a way to move by using a script? Am I missing something? Or is it not possible to save warp on this mod? Thanks.
Hey, I was considering doing some runs of this, but the rules seem to be way too specific and restrictive, like you have to show way too many things in order for the run to be verified. I get that this game can be easily exploited, but there are so many requirements it gets confusing. So I was wondering if I could avoid recording my hand during a no exploit run since it would be a bit of trouble setting it up. Also, is the exploits category really necessary? I mean, there are exploits that would basically make the game play on it's own/press 1 button to win, which doesn't really work for a leaderboard, specially since it says "changing the game's code" counts as an exploit. It really isn't a very competitive category, since it has very little to none gameplay. So imo it should be deleted. Finally, I was wondering what does the Mobile category mean: Am I supposed to download an emulator and play it on my phone. Any of the 3 versions? Or is there an specific version designed for mobile? Also, again, I would be having trouble recording a hand cam for this category, since I'd record the hand with my phone in other categories, but in this one I need the phone to record it's own gameplay.
So yeah just wanted to throw these questions/suggestions. I'll probably do the runs anyway but I wanted to see if it was possible to make it easier for me to setup and prepare the runs, and also make the leaderboards look better and be more accesible / less confusing. Thanks.
Hey, I'm trying to re-do my run that was rejected before, and also want to run 100%. But there are some things I wanted to adress:
- The game keeps bugging in the DOSbox version and the highscore at the end softlocks the game, not allowing me to write any character. So I can't write my gamertag, and given that an average run takes like 30 mins, it's pretty frustrating to have the run rejected because of a glitch AFTER beating the game. Could I write my name on another part of the screen to showcase it's me? Cause it's a really dumb rule that makes everything unnecesary harder, besides I'm the only runner so far.
- In regards to the 100% category, could I do it without destroying the UFOs? They are extremely hard to hit, they spawn randomly and only serve the purpose of giving extra points. So they are not even real enemies, unlike the bonus levels. Again, the run becomes tedious if I have to reset everytime an impossible UFO randomly appears.
So yeah, I think making those 2 changes would make the leaderboard a lot better.

Hey, I was planning to run this game, but I can't even beat it: I got 6 chaos emeralds, the only place left is the "trap" fight against Ross, Alanna, and the other 2 + the chaos spirits. I tried all attacks, but none of them seem to work, everything does 0 damage. How do I defeat the white Chaos spirits? I don't know what else I'm supposed to do and I haven't found a walkthrough online or anything like that.
Also, the Perfect% category sounds quite insane, it's extremely easy and really RNG dependant to lose a character in the second arc. I don't think that really works as a runnable category.
