I also wasn't recording before it happened so I didn't get the exact timing of it.
Title says it all. Kinda curious about it.
@mistryzoda123 You can get Nidoran Male in blue as well, and there’s even an RNG Manip for it. The version differences is how the RNG advances which causes the manips to be different and the Blue Version has slower resets due to Squirtle having a longer cry than Charmander. The routes are near identical other than the manipulations being being done with different inputs. There’s just not one consolidated place where the route for Blue has been documented.
Can always just do the run then use the PSR forums to hold a pseudo leaderboard and maybe get it approved to end up on SRC if you really want to.
You can still run the old NSC route if you want to and just submit it under the current category. Just know the time won't be in the least bit competitive. Best time was 12:59 (charmander manip route) and 13:30 (bulba ditto route) iirc.
If you're not a part of the PSR discord I recommend joining it. It explains how all glitched categories are temporarily being put to misc. categories with the testing of IT and whatnot in Glitchless.
There's an inherent chance of a crash after defeating the final trainer. Iirc it's based on specific frames or something like that, it's a frame or time based thing. Not preventable, which is why if you're just getting started it's recommended to save after the second trainer so if you crash you just need to reset.
I’m not sure if anyone responded to you in anothe manner I’m just gonna be informative. If you don’t have a twitch handle, put that. To keep it more to the topic, only include Pokémon games. Same as above. And for your final question, just go to memebig.net and you’ll have your answer.
You just need to clear the “This Pokémon has appeared!” Text as fast as possible. My personal visual cue is when the P in appeared shows up, I slide my fingers from A to B on my controller. Other than getting IGT0ed I haven’t missed one in ages unless I accidentally don’t hit the buttons until much too late.
Most of that doesn’t apply to these games really. The TiD manips are simply enough as is. And for the people who have it on the layout, it’s manually entered in themselves most likely. ie; FR/LG you enter your TID and it tells you a list of possible stats for the starter based on the time you select them and they just have that shown. To my knowledge there isn’t anylike like that for R/B because we don’t need them.
If you hold A during the Spearow cry, then select -> A nearly instantly after the click is how you can get it. But if you can't get it there's a chance you got IGT'd
The A press during the palette change is very important when it comes to timing, you could be missing the window. I advise you aim for between the letters E and B. And ensure you're holding the direction and A until the copyright screen pops up.
Gotcha, I'll give it a shot tonight thank ya. Other than this I've loved the route
Okay, so I've been trying to find a good cue to use when doing the manip to get pikachu for the deathfly (I can't even get to the right tile for him to show up) And even after counting steps in the forest saving on the spot I think is right, I manage to manip a metapod the second I step into the final grass path. I'm not sure exactly what's going on so any help would be appreciated.
I saw it and considered it, just a totally different game mechanically wise. But definitely something I'm going to do in the near future.
Also, just a personal preference, but if you make Distance, Coins, and Score main categories and just have; 10,000 m, 100,000 m and 1,000,000 m (same with coins and score) sub categories the overall look will be much cleaner.
Bear in mind I don’t run Glitchless very much and don’t have the stats all memorized like I once did.
I think that’s right, but to be honest here the 7 A press one while may sound and appear intimidating is super easy and a quick manipulation to do. I recommend that over the one in the guide.
Depending on the mistake the input viewer may not even be needed, although I’m assuming you’re doing the 7 A press method which means an input viewer would most definitely help.
