Hey guys! I'm having a blast with these speed runs; I'm actually surprised that I was doing these so fast... I had no idea I was doing anything special all these 15 years. This is really fun!

Me and my brother actually have some really cool speed run videos of us both playing split screen on Battlefront and simply dominating. Is there ever going to be a category for split screen speed runs? I'd love to help pioneer the genre if possible!

I also have another new category idea... What if we had a no deaths+victories only category? It would be fun to see a marathon and see how long someone lasts with all the maps. Random ideas!

I’ve noticed a difference in difficulty between platforms; on the original xbox, the 360 and xbox one. PC is definitely harder. I wonder how the programming end of things works? Cause it seems pretty average on xbox and 360, but harder on the XBONE and PC.

Anyway! My best strategy specifically for BCC Rebels is as follows... Play as the pilot because you can self heal and reload. The other characters are too niche and don’t really play well if you’re going for speed. The soldier is fine but lacks the advantages of the rebel pilot. since BCC is a close quarters “urban warfare” sort of environment, the shotgun is extremely effective of the pilot. The sniper works if you’re a camper.

My advice in any level: Aim for the head always, or as much as possible. know where every recharge droid is at every CP. Exploit the A.I. as much as possible; the faster you get CPs the more they don’t know what to do.

For BCC specifically, I always go and charge for the bottom right flank CP. Then I go and push for the top right flank CP. Then I take the Carbon freezing chamber if necessary (my troops usually grab this first thing anyway). The open plaza is a dead man’s zone, and I let the opposition take that, so you can clean them out faster. I still push and take it as much as possible, hugging the edges of the map and flanking them. in a clockwise fashion. The walls at the Plaza CP are useful, and keeping in mind the ramps there leading up to the ledge in the center with the gun turret are great cause you “have the high ground” and can get headshots easier and they can’t get a shot at you cause of the angles.
