I can not get a decent timer to work for capturing Minecraft gameplay as the mods will not work. I can though get an obs timer to record but only in increments of seconds and it would constantly count down. Is this ok or does it have to be a in-game timer capturing all the way down to milliseconds?

Hello, I am having trouble setting up the timer provided, I have put it in my mods folder and then launched 1,8,9 and nothing happened, I unzipped it of course but nothing is working. It should be a java file but it isn't and I have no idea how/why the mod won't install. Can someone help?
