First run past 1-2 and I secured the 5:44! This is mid 7:54 pace to world 8, but with mid 7:51 pace or faster to world 8 you could get 5:3x. Although that's pretty ridiculous, it still goes to show that there is still a few viable seconds that could be shaved off in this category. I will definitely come back to this category eventually and add in TAS wrong warp in 8-1 to get a lower 5:4x before I'm fully satisfied. A time like this couldn't have been achieved without the new tech recently found by Simplistic_Memes that saves over 2 minutes in this category, so credits and shoutouts to him!
