you are doing decent but if you want to improve you just need click faster. you can try clicking with two fingers

but i have to also hold shift to speed things up? it makes it really hard to click with two fingers

yeah you need to be spider in some way. I persanally use my thumb to hold, my middle finger to press esc, and in right hand i just double fingering mouse. then in spacebar section i use pinky to hold shift and thumb to press space. something like that
