To enable the load remover in LiveSplit, the game name must be exactly 'Hyper Light Drifter'. It should then give an option to activate the load remover, and settings to enable various autosplits.

After the load remover is activated, we still need to make sure the displayed timer is using it. Right-click on LiveSplit and under 'Compare Against', select 'Game Time'. Alternatively, you can directly change the comparison method of a specific timer to 'Game Time' in the layout settings. This is useful if you want seperate timers for RTA and loadless time.

There are currently 2 options for autosplits, 'Warps' and 'Alt Drifter'. The 'Warps' option will trigger a split every time the screen fades out while warping into town (in both the Any% and NMG routes, this will happen 4 times, once after each area). The 'Alt Drifter' option should only be selected when playing as the Alt Drifter (since time ends at a different point on NG/NG+), and will split at the end of a run when the credits load.
