How to perform a negative Dupe in Any% for the twinkling titanite?

In the top ranked speedruns (at the Blacksmith), they press "X" and "A" (Playstation --> "Square" and "X") at the same time to swap between arrow-menu and weapon-menu.

How do you achieve swapping shop-tabs through that? Could someone explain?

So you might be referring to how certain runners rebind their inputs through Steam. Ducksual made a video about this, but basically you rebind mouse left to the gamepad so it's more convenient to hit the double input on the same frame.

In remastered you also want to have a confirmation bind from the keyboard in your gamepad since remastered doesn't accept inputs from controller and keyboard at the same time, so both a mouse input and a keyboard input

But it would mean you'd have to position your mouse on the right spot before every run (?) Sounds kinda annoying to me.

Yes but it's less of a big deal than you'd think, you can either find lineups on the character creation screen for the cursor or open your inventory during the first opening door animation in asylum and place it there while you wait, the arrows in the inventory match the ones in the merchant menu

and pray for no mouse drift :)
