Here's an explanation of how the menu related glitches work. |I have a playlist of videos about them|, but here are the tl;dw versions.

First of all I'll say "glitch a prompt" a lot and that always means to store a prompt and take it out its original menu. To do that you need to accept and decline a menu button at the same time: on Xbox: A and B on Dualshock: X and ⭘ on Keyboard: **⮠ ** and 🠤

Save Warp

Save Warps allow you to spawn in a difference entrance of the map, than the one you actually came from.

• Go into the save menu and glitch a save prompt.   Whether you wanna create a new save or overwrite an existing one is situational.
• Now during a screen transition you wanna spam Yes during the fade out of the first room.   You will know that it succeeded when the save prompt lags a little during the black screen.
• Go into the title menu and load the save you created.

There are many types of transitions with their own visual cues, don't hesitate to ask about them in the Discord, or watch the input display on someone else's run. The most common mistakes are spamming to slowly and starting to late.

For sideways transitions running will put the prompt on No. You can either just tap forwards to get it on No and then it'll go back on Yes as you run through, or on a gamepad you can tilt your stick slightly to walk through without changing the prompt.

Back In Time

BiTs allow you to teleport to the position of a different save file.

• Have the file that is to be teleported in the Continue Slot (for example by loading it)
• Glitch a save prompt and leave into the title menu.   *The save prompt is now open and inactive behind the title menu.
• In the Load Menu glitch a load prompt on the file you want to teleport to and go back to the title.
• Go back to the title, accept the load prompt, and then hit Continue.
• Go into the Main Menu (not the pause menu) and then out again.
• Spam Yes during the fade out.   You should hear it being accepted during the black screen.
• Go into the title menu and hit *Continue.

If for some reason you wanted to do a BiT without the main menu enabled, the old method is to go into the save or options menu and when you go out of that the game will softlock in the back screen. There you can save with your glitched prompt and need to restart the game.

Character Swap

Character Swap let's you swap between Lea and Shizuka. Nothing else on the file is affected, not your progress and not your level. Only your sprite, your base stats and your ability to use combat arts.

This works very similiarly to BiTs so you can mistakenly perform the other one respectively. The following example is gonna replace Shizuka with Lea. Just swap the names to do it the other way round. Other than the file that you want to apply the swap on, you need a different file with the opposite character, which has the Main Menu enabled (so pre-Rookie-Dungeon without Blank Glitch does not work).

• restart the Game   This is to clear the cache. There is another way, but it's not viable in runs.
• Go into Lea's file.   This is to put it into the continue slot.
• Glitch a save prompt and leave into the title menu.
• In the Load Menu glitch a load prompt on the Shizuka file and go back to the title.
• Accept the load prompt and then hit Continue.
• Go into the Main Menu (not the pause menu) and then out again.
• Wait for the load icon to appear, now hit Yes.   a BiT would save during the black screen before
• Go into the title menu and hit Continue.

Landmark Warp

This allows you to store a Landmark Prompt and use it at a different time or on a different file.

Just glitch the prompt on the map and don't mess it up by pressing left/right before you use it.

On m/kb this trick is annoying since you cannot use Enter and Backspace for it. You need to click it with LMB and as you release that you have to hit RMB or Backspace. (same as Vendor Glitch)

Vendor Glitch

Glitching the vendor prompt does not work on gamepad, so chances are Vendor Glitch won't exist at all on the console versions, once they come out.

So to glitch the prompt:

• Grab your mouse.
• Go into the Sell Menu.
• Click on the item you want to perform the glitch on.
• As you release LMB you need to hit Cancel (so that's RMB, Backspace or Esc).   Getting this right is super annoying and it usually takes a few tries.
• You should be outside of the Sell Menu with the prompt.

Infinite Money

This allows you to sell any item for as much money as you like.

The item will be gone after this. You need to have at least as much money as you would get for selling the amount of the item that you own plus one more. So if you have 3 sandwiches, each selling for 50, you need at least 200 credits to perform the trick. Obviously you can sell them until you have only 1, then you only need 100. Selling a more valuable item will make the trick faster.

• Glitch the vendor prompt.
• Hit +10 to overflow the selling number
• Go back into the Sell Menu
• Hover over the item in question and press D or 🠞 to keep overflowing the number to your liking.
• Hit Checkout and buy some bitches.

Item Duping

This trick allows you to buy copies of items you own.

You need to pay for it though, so make use of vendor glitch first. There is some equipment you cannot sell at all, so the trick won't work on those.

• Glitch the vendor prompt.
• Choose how many you want to buy.
• Go into the Buy Menu.
• Hover over any item and tap D and A or 🠞 and 🠜.   This refreshes the shopping cart to include your glitched purchase
• Hit Checkout.
