In the first level of the story, you can activate an easter egg which [spoiler]drops creeper all over the map, which you can then go on to fight.[/spoiler]

You can activate this easter egg by [spoiler]killing your rift lab before finishing the mission. Simply order it to move to a creeper infested spot and die away.[/spoiler]
