why did you change the rule to "when you trigger the last checkpoint" when that is ping based (so its not actually how fast you go) & the rule has always been "Time ends when you touch the last checkpoint of the zone."
ILs are now about how fast the game is not how fast you are lol
This time makes the end time more realistic as the full game was also ending when the last checkpoint was triggered because the cutscene played this way.
A. That is completely irrelevant to ILs as the ending levels 51-60 are not any IL.
B. There is less variance in this cutscene than in the detection of checkpoints.
For reference, the frame count is measured from the first frame of touching the checkpoint to the game registering they have hit the checkpoint in 60fps.
The variance between the top 3 runs of the full game ending cutscene is just 2 frames (9 frames in my wr vs 10 frames in dero's run vs 11 frames in bullerkattens run).
In the very easy runs for the 3 way tied wr there is a 9 frame variance (2 frames in seez's (might be even lower, his video is in 30fps), 8 frames in bullerkattens and 11 frames in my run).
C. Level 30's checkpoint is infamous for giving a delay that can be as long as 3 seconds that is random.
Interesting to give players advantages based on ping but I digress.
Since a new ending came to the game, a new category for the ending has been set to the game as a subcategory to glitchless and glitches categories.
I wish you good luck grinding for the best time in the new ending.
