ALL languages comparison

In June 2023 it has been discovered that there's a time difference in Form Baton cutscenes in some languages. Because there were only English and German runs on the leaderboard, only these two languages has been retimed and compared. Lately I found on YouTube a playlist with all languages, so I retimed them and it looks like this:

German > French > English > Spanish > Italian

Form Cutscene Language Differences

Every form in this game has a cutscene with narration. The length of narration is different between languages of the game. This makes German the fastest language over English by around 29 seconds.

To play the game in German, you need to have a PAL copy of the game. If you're on a PAL wii, change your system language to German. If you're on an NTSC wii, follow [this guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/q5m9tx/how_to_region_change_your_wii_a_stepbystep_guide/) to set your wii's region to PAL.

Microgames to save time on

These are all the microgames that show up in a run and need special play to save time. Boss games are not covered here.

**Wario**

- None

**Mona**

- None

**Kat & Ana**

- Trace (Nachziehen) - win fast to save time

**Young Cricket**

- Reunite (Vereinen) - winning or failing can be equally fast, playing slow will lose time
- Pay attention (Aufpassen) - choose correctly fast, choosing wrong is always slow
- Roll in (Einlochen) - win fast to save time
- Nod if correct (Nicken, wenn korrekt) - nod immediately to go fast, doesn't matter if you win or lose

**Jimmy T**

- Trace (Nachziehen) - win fast to save time again

**Ashley**

- Rotate (Drehen) - pick the right shape fast, choosing wrong is always slow
- Pick the ☆ (Griefe ☆) - take the first card immediately, doesn't matter if you win or lose. timing is tight. cards 2 and 3 are equally fast, still faster than waiting

**Dribble & Spitz**

- None

**Penny**

- None

**9-volt**

- Catch it (Fangen) - slow game, nothing you can do. always at speed 1 here.
- Flap (Fliegen) - start flapping, then fall to fail and save time
- Hit (Schlagen) - don't hit the baseball to fail and save time
- Conduct (Dirigieren) - win fast to save time

**Jimmy P.**

- Catch it (Fangen) - slow game, can show up at any speed here so hope it's speed 3

**Mini Wario**

- Sort (Sortieren) - sort asap to save time, doesn't matter if you win or lose
- Knock it down (Umkegeln) - bowl fast to save time, timing is a bit tight for fastest cycle
