The previous WR was 4:25.43 by Teiga: I split 0.12s later at the end, so my adjusted time would be 4:19.16, for a real difference of 6.27s
Compared to Teiga's WR, I had 4.75s of time save from running PC version (0.75s on initial load, 4.0s from "Next Trial" loading). So I really only beat him by 1.52 seconds if the playing field was equal.
I saved 0.32s on Trial 7 with a faster U2 whiff setup, 0.57s on Trial 19 with a faster corner setup, and 0.8s on Trial 24 by landing the 1-hit Ultra 1 (which is incredibly precise btw, I only attempted it because I didn't want PC version to be the only reason I got WR).
Without those time saves, Teiga's run would have been 10 frames faster overall. This is mostly a result of wasted frames spent walking, charging Focus Attack, or not hitting a button immediately after forward dash. In other words, the Evil Ryu run is almost unimaginably optimized.
