AFAIK one (circuit?) race is missing in the console version, I am not sure which one but it's just not there. @Shiinyu might know something more specific because it's him I heard this info from.

1. The IL leaderboard seems to be divided into Tiers, so you can do runs with every tier of cars and they'll be treated separately 2+3. Shouldn't matter which mode I think, on circuits it's always the fastest SINGLE lap that counts anyways (doesn't need to be the first lap, to be perfectly clear)

I'd do it in the time trial mode tho

The best thing you can contact the mods about is a separation of "inbounds" and "out of bounds" runs but even that wouldn't make much sense unless the game is already very competetive in inbounds. I would say no if I was a moderator here.

No part of this video is cheating, as Shin said, shortcuts are an essential part of speedrunning, not only when a racing game is involved. Guy is using the game's mechanics and only that to his advantage and kudos to him because it looks like a somewhat optimized strat.

As long as it's within the boundaries of the game, in speedrunning, anything goes.

sr.c doesn't support score based runs, we could only add drift events as time attack runs (like underground 2) which I don't think is what you want

Uhh, what does the hundo involve? I mean the main category is called any% but you're completing the entire story mode, there are no skips, so technically I should change the name

Unless you want a Story mode + puzzle mode (full game) category, which I can add, there was just no need before

Yeah the game has INSANE potential for routing and I think it'll require much more game/girl knowledge to run than HP1, I'm stoked

I'm a long-time runner for multiple NFS games and a rather well-known member of the NFS community. It has recently come to my attention that the name of "Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered" is capitalized incorrectly. I brought this up to the game and series mods and well, they obviously can't change that, I get that, and back then I didn't think bothering you with a single capitalization change like that would be appropriate at all. Today however, I checked if any other games in the series had "For" instead of "for" and it turns out there are 4 official NFS titles affected by this error: NFS: Heat, NFS: Hot Pursuit Remastered, NFS: Carbon Own The City (GBA/DS) and NFS:Undercover (PSP) Additionally, the category extensions also have "For" in their name.

I know it's a small vanity thing, but if it's not too much of a bother I'd like to request the change of all these 5 capitalized "F" letters in "For" into small "f"s. Since I'm not a mod myself - my guess is you'll ask Failracer for confirmation on this change.

Interesting thought but in my opinion the credits are, well, credits. The main objective of the game is clearing the story mode which ends when you beat Mecha-Set (8-6 not 4 btw)

I could see credits being part of the 100% category but for Any% nah.

I'm not a mod though, so ultimately that's not my call :d

Hey! A player named alex2007 made me a mod of freshly created luxor_4, but apparently he right away unmodded himself because I have a DM saying "can you please give me SM back". Point is, now I'm left as the only moderator, and we don't have an SM. I'm not asking you to give him the SM back, rather to promote me, because seeing how he made a mistake in the name of the game and created a rather weird category there makes me not trust him (and yeah he unmodded himself lol). Also the rules say I can't request it for other players but yeah. Though I don't have a run on the LB, I am perfectly familiar with Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife so it's not a problem; in fact sometime tomorrow I'll probably submit a game series request for Luxor because now we have 3 games on sr.c, two of which I'm a moderator of. Edit: I do intend to give alex at least a regular Moderator role back, I'm adding this so it doesn't seem like I'm trying to hijack a game lol

TL;DR I'm the only mod for luxor_4, I want to be promoted to SM. Thanks in advance
