Rhône-Alpes, Francealso about the top runners, I know they shouldn't be changing the way we rule all this but just think about, they the best on this speedrunning community, they know the gameplay of this game like noone and we don't want to see them leave the game just because they can't play like they want, which is totally normal and understandable. However i have the same opinion about the fact that the fps gap changes too much about the speed of certain actions, but you can also see it otherwise, playing at 60-90 fps also has its advantages :) (less but still does).
Ok but if we can't even make everyone submit their run correctly even with the simplest and the first rules, how are we supposed to check if everyone uses it correctly and don't bypass it higher. I don't know how it works exactly but we would have to ask for the permanent fps display or that they show directly at the end of the run that the bypasser rule wasn't disrespected, that would mean many changes in the rules and needing that ALL the players show their taskbar at the end of the run or something so that we can make sure that they didn't use a bypasser or that they respected the rule. Some don't even see that for the ILs, we need the title of the zone to appear on the screen, so if we ask for them to change everything about their recording manners...
We tried adding this rule with a higher cap of 100fps, but runners (mainly top players) complained about how this would be unplayable. For that reason we have decided not to add this rule and just wait for the devs to try and fix this. We already know all the advantages both 60-100 and 100-144 fps have but, we can't make any big decision or one of the two part will not be happy with it anyways.

Straffing mid-air can probably be done on a controller however in a way less effective way. Mouse & Keyboard is definitely the best choice for speedrun also for the reason that bhoping is almost impossible with a controller.
You just need to have LiveSplit downloaded and then open the .iss (splits) file and it shoud load them into livesplit
Hey! I understand totally, the problem is that they are some of the most popular french streamers and that there weren't the ones that submitted it to us, even if the full VOD was available, they wouldn't be the best squad to take example from honestly xd.
Their intention wasn't about bad sportsmanship as their goal wasn't to speedrun, but again, I totally understand.
So, I would recommend you checking the duos or trios runs or just try train some well-known skips to do them with your friends.

No, I don't think the latest patch fixed something about any skip, most of those that I knew of still work. If you have a more precise example I invite you to tell us on the discord server, or here, if you prefer :)
yeah i was thinking about doing that, i think i did it on that's not my robloxian. I will call it something like "Perfect", not S snce you can't get an S in nightmare mode.
