Yeah, I'm currently alone here. Anyone who would be interested in helping (having previous experience on the site) can contact me, preferably on Discord.
I guess this is up to us to decide. And then it would be a good idea to define it more clearly in the rules.
I'd suggest hopping on Discord, the folks that run the game are more active there. And talk it over.
Those are custom campaigns – not really related to the main game (I actually didn't even know they existed). So as to keep the main page more clean, guys on Discord agreed it's a good idea to move them out. Especially considering there are quite a few more of those campaigns, and if people run them, we'll be adding them too: https://cry-of-fear.fandom.com/wiki/Custom_Campaign
Sure, added it. I used the same rules from other categories, feel free to suggest if anything should be different though.
Aight. I've added a single category for 3/4 players coop (find it under "Miscellaneous"). The game is not that popular, and running with multiple people is even less possible, so that should be enough.
So a single category for 3/4 person coop, right? I guess I could add that.
Or maybe we should just have 2 categories: 1 person coop, and multi-person coop? I'm not sure if having more players during a run gives an advantage or a disadvantage.
Alright, added those two to all categories.
What about difficulty setting? I don't have the game right now, but I think it's an option for all categories?
We could, if there's a need. Currently there's not much activity so I guess having no rules isn't that big of a problem, but sure.
Do you have any proposals?
So uhm I thought about getting an IRC channel or creating a Skype group, and between those I found another thing, it's like IRC but with persistent messages and other stuff.
~~ You can join the channel on https://chat.echoplex.us/cof ~~
I've made a Discord server, if anyone sees this.
I gave you both mod rights, feel free to add categories/notes/whatever.
Do you happen to use IRC by any chance? We could get on a channel and probably discuss how to get more attention or any other stuff.
Wow, it's actually awkward to see anyone posting about this game :D
So last June me and a friend got into it and did the coop campaign (we did quite a few runs together, but then realized it's too clunky going together, so after that we started running separately). Personal best was somewhat below 30mins (1 player coop campaign).
The thing with the game is it crashes kinda often (at least the coop campaign). Personally, I found the solo campaign a bit too long and tedious for me to consider running it.
If you want to help developing this section (rules and whatnot), I can give you editing rights.
I'm planning to come from Lithuania. Is there anyone from around (Poland/Latvia) here?
