I think that changing this rule would be a great idea. I know that the load when pressing the start button can be long for people with slower PCs (like myself). Other civ games like civ 5 go off of first input instead of the start button, and overall it just makes more sense overall to have it on first input. Although it would take a lot of effort to retime every run to first input instead of the start button. Hopefully mods and I can discuss this and maybe to change the rule.

DLCs in Civilization VI speedruns is something that I feel would be a good idea. With the DLCs, there would many more civilizations and features for speedrunners use in new strategies. Do you guys the community, think that this is a good idea?

I think an option to put your time without loads in along with your time with loads would be a great idea. I have already had a few runs ruined by an abnormally long loading screen and this would easily solve that problem.

Hello, I noticed that we could use some new categories. I personally, haven't played much Offworld Trading Company recently so I was hoping to get some ideas from the community.

I have an idea for a few new categories where you try to get certain monuments like the park of fortune or the alter of peace. Although, this would exclude monuments like the empire's tomb, eye of god and the tower of wisdom because these categories already exist 100 stars, full map and full tech tree.

I am pretty sure as long as you do an action like moving a unit or researching a tech before ending a turn is not considered turn spamming.

I think that levels runs and the level runs would just the levels in the game. I think that this would be good addition to the speedrun page because they would be a lot shorter than the full game runs.

I saw in the rules that it says that you can use any map but it has to be a small map. Does that mean maps such as True Start Location Earth and other standard sized are not allowed to be used or would you have to reduce the amount of AIs in the game. I just want to know if I can use this map or not because I am also thinking about doing a run too.

I have an idea for a new category called nuke% where you build and use a nuke as fast as you can.

I have an idea for new category where you try to get a certain resource as fast as you can. For example, you might try to get scrape as fast as can or some other resource. I think this would be a new and fun category to speedrun.
