Yes, it was our plan to make video proof required in the no revive category.
What does flap mean? (sorry I'm a noob :))
double reply @a_xxEzraBxxx_b
From the rules:
Approved hardware/software (please specify in the run comment):
- Original NES, Famicom or FDS
- Original NES or Famicom with Everdrive or Powerpak
- Wii, Wii U, Switch and 3DS Virtual Console
- FCEUX, Nestopia, Bizhawk, OpenEMU
- NES Classic Edition
- Analogue NT Mini
If it’s any of those, then it’s okay. Otherwise it isn’t allowed.
@DankusSR quick question. Do you mean that we add 101% for IL’s or as a subcategory for the main 100% categories?
I couldn't find a way to cut out the time in between turns without the video looking horrible :(
Update: I gave up on this project because I got stuck. RIP.
Very nice idea, but I’ll also say no because of the same reasons as Cytruss has in his reply.
I agree that a “no exploits” category would be more interesting. It would be a long run, but also interesting.
Hello everyone!
I recently came up with the interesting idea of making a spliced run to find the theoretically best time for certain IL’s. I’m going to do that by recording a regular run with the optimal route, and then cutting out the time inbetween the movement, essentially making a perfect human theory spliced speedrun.
If I find anything interesting I’ll post it, but I’m going to keep most times secret, because I don’t want to destroy the competition.
This are the rules: “VODs submitted to leaderboards contain the entire run in one segment and must include game audio.”
