Just do it then. Make rules and just do it and post about it. Probably in the Rain World discord is a good place to post about it. Look at the old intended% category on the main board. Most of the existing submissions for Downpour to 100% do not use karma caching because that's what EverMoon wants to do; interesting runs. There is a reason that none of the main categories are glitchless, because without glitches content in this game is not engaging to veteran runners and adds nothing to most categories.
Please use the Speedrun Timer Fix mod, or livesplit in future submissions to avoid manual time correction. More details on discord or the announcement.
You have some way to record your gameplay, yes? Can you join the official Rain World discord (https://discord.gg/rainworld) and post in the #speed-score-runs channel (https://discord.com/channels/291184728944410624/406092161281687572) about this problem. Easier for me compared to replying here.
I don't know if any of the mods have the Xbox version of the game or what you have going on but it would be helpful to see a video of what settings are available to you. Probably I'll have you DM me the video or something. Worst case is that the runs are just done with Real Time
+500ms for each stoppage for rounding purposes.

I can't see if I can directly ping but if you're playing with Downpour under Rain World Remix. You are looking for the first option under which is Speedrun timer.
Nope. Only the DLC characters are required for the category.
Rules states: "Complete the story for all More SlugCats Characters in any order" which isn't super explicit but that's what it means.
Moon% was replaced by Cloak Retrieval, more or less. Similarly, Intended route was replaced by Story. Not hard set rules as the current categories are just a guess from shortly after Downpour releasing instead of based on demand.
We can always add more Misc. categories if there is interest shown (at least 3 people do a run of it), and there are enforceable rules that the mods can actually approve. That's how most of the Misc. runs were created in the first place.
Currently there's no category or ruleset for co-op runs. What did you have in mind with it? There's always the option of adding new categories if people try it out and it seems interesting. If you want to show off a run to people or discuss it, the meta-and-tech channel on the discord is the best place. (https://discord.gg/rainworld)
