I tested it in game just now and you can still do the bubbles back to back without doing any tech or whatever. Do you have a recording of the cooldowns forcing you to wait 2 seconds?

I don't see or hear any notifications in any of the videos though? They literally look like straight up splices, not lags or jumps or freezes, just sharp cuts. With lags, the audio usually keeps going while the screen freezes for a bit.

I can create an Uprising subcategory since Sedition is no longer available, then just 'Legacy' the Sedition runs. Not sure about Auric since no one has mentioned it yet, but can add it later if runs are being done for it.

Yeah, if you click on one of the maps you'll see the "Show rules" button. There's some differences between Quick Play, Competitive and Vs AI.

Unfortunately this is more of a "high score" type of run, since the goal is to keep track of "most eliminations in a game". Currently, we're only doing speedrun categories.

You bring up a great point! It looks like people who have a slower load-in have a slight advantage against people with really fast loads. I checked it out and retimed the top 7 runs from when they load-in to when the fish target appears:

1- Mod edit: retimed to 0:06.817 (start: 454, end: 863, FPS: 60)
2- Mod edit: retimed to 0:06.350 (start: 743, end: 1124, FPS: 60)
3- Mod edit: retimed to 0:07.300 (start: 10, end: 229, FPS: 30)
4- Mod edit: retimed to 0:07.500 (start: 25, end: 250, FPS: 30)
5- Mod edit: retimed to 0:07.783 (start: 567, end: 1034, FPS: 60)
6- Mod edit: retimed to 0:07.767 (start: 502, end: 968, FPS: 60)
7- Mod edit: retimed to 0:07.783 (start: 120, end: 587, FPS: 60)

Pretty much every run's idle start before the first task is given is different, with the top runs having a slower load-in. I think I'll change the official start to when the fish target appears, it'll normalize the times and show a better representation of the actual runs. For co-op, all players need to start on Bronze III, 0 points and run ends when all runners reach Gold III?

The idea is cool! I'm willing to add it and run it myself, but I really think having it done in the arcade modes Doom Match/Conquest would be better since you're solo vs other solo players. Doing it in quickplay or even comp is essentially griefing your team since you'd wanna purposefully die in a team-based setting to switch to the next hero

In what mode, quick play or doom match/conquest? Doom match/conquest seems better since it's solo and won't affect any teammates tbh. Feel free to post your speedrun here so we can see it!

It sounds like it should be working, I dunno tho, maybe try a different hotkey? For my runs, I just retime it in editing.

i checked the voice line files and japanese is definitely faster for The Punisher (by 600ms). i'll check the other heroes too

There was someone who suggested something similar, but it was with levels, so like speedrun level 1 to 10.

But so there isn't a bunch of empty leaderboards with newly requested categories, a full example run should be shared. Also, with categories like these, if the starting experience isn't 0, then runners would have to create new steam/epic/etc accounts for every new attempt. If people find interest in it, we could possibly add it.

as long as it's SFW and doesn't provide any type of advantage for the run, then yeah should be alright
