Upgrading all tools to maximum might be a lot longer task than marriage. At least if you count the Cursed/Blessed/Mythic upgrades into the run.

Getting all power berries might be a bit faster than marriage% if routed correctly.

For shorter categories an interesting option might be some kind of "capitalist%" with some subcategories like reaching 50k, 100k, etc. gold as fast as possible. The rule for "time end" could be "If you open the menu and it says >= 50k/100k/... then do the final split".
