First of all, i want to announce DBcade as new Super Mod of this game (And the entire Guilty Gear series)

We´ve been talking about some changes i want to introduce.:

1. The actual Discord server is not the one the GG speedrun community is using atm. As soon as i have an invitation it will be posted here.

2. I confirmed with him that PC loading times are faster than PS2 loading times (resulting in an unfair advantage for PC players) So PC and PS2/Emulator categories will be splitted.

3. There is an issue with norinori74 last run. It has no BGM, and this results in faster loading times. It was accepted because the rules we're not specifying that BGM was required, but in order to have the same rules as other similar games with this issue, it will be required from now on. I know this is UNFAIR to norinori74 and i want to apologize with him (when i entered this game as a Mod i should notice that rule was missing)

I need some minutes to make this changes efective. If someone has any concern pls post it here.

Are they allowed to kill enemies or just to open the way when it´s required? the rules doesn´t specify this.

I´ve been checking some things here and there and i did some minor adjustments.

• Corrected an error in Dbcade´s submission (timer was set on 99 in his form and now it´s on 180 (as is in his run) )

• Comments on runs are now allowed to anyone who has 1 verified run on this game.

• Linked Guilty Gear Series Discord Page on Isuka´s front page.

• Emulator runs were hidden by default, in the future will be shown by default. (This will lead probably to a new "Emulator Category" i need to do further investigation to choose what emu is to be accepted and in what conditions (also if there is no advantages or differences with original ones maybe can be mixed in the main category)

What do you think? Should we accept emulator runs? should we choose 1 emulator over others? (Ex: PSCX2) Do you have any other suggestions? feel free to share your thoughts and i will read it asap :D

Hi! i´m noob on this game.

My autosplitter is not working right in the splits 0 and 1 showing always this:

Also in cutscenes it shows like i´m loosing minutes and then it goes back to normal some splits after that. How can i fix this?

I think it´s time for some volunteers to step up and for a votation to be made.

I´m reading every post and i saw that there´s a post in wich says that it is. But in the "submit run" section it only allows me to select Gamecube.

I just verified Dbcade run and he told me about this issue.

Aparently u don´t always get the level up after a Perfect stage (as i saw in his run).

My guessing is that the Perfect Bonus is not an entire level but a part of it. So if u just leveled up u will need a little more EXP to get the level up. I will investigate further to confirm this.

I have data of some of my recent PB that shows noone checked it. I won´t throw names (and u won´t know looking at my pbs cos not just one accepted my recent runs) I just post this cos months ago u fired Deadhunter for this reason (among others) but now it´s the same. (Just in case, i documented everything) (Read this as just a concerned runner, not angry or wanting to disturb anyone)

Sorry for being annoying with another post.

Pewpew just told me that she/he cannot be on the leaderboard cos she/he doesn´t have a second screen (the game doesn´t allow the auttosplitter to work even with "global hotkeys" activated) (autosplitter is mandatory)

So this post is just to ask if someone knows how to do this. It will be helpful for others with the same problem too.

Why? It would be so nice for me to run with my music. If u can clearly hear the game music and it´s SFX i don´t know why to ban other music, so pls if u can tell me why or delete that rule, it would be nice.

Hi everybody.

I´m Vendettavic, the new mod of this game (the previous one was inactive for a long time) I´m active daily so feel free to run this game, and your runs will be checked asap.

In order to have more control of the runs (to prevent splicing or other tricks) it will be mandatory from now on, to have a timer on the screen (this is actually a must in other fight games, im not innovating at all). I know it can be difficult for console players but there are ways to do it.

This is the main thing i want to add right now, but if u have anything to add or to say, feel free to reply this thread or to open a pm.

Hi! I´m interested to start learning this game, but i don´t know if PC (Steam) version is valid or i have to play emu. :D

I´ve been thinking about this for a long time. When i started running this game, noone told me about this, and it was discouraging not to know til i realized by myself. I try to warn new runners but i think it would be necessary to make a pinned thread on the forum, or maybe warn in the game rules. I abandonned this run for months due to frustration. It´s difficult to make this game actually work, and then when it work u loose time out of nowhere without any reason. Let´s warn new ppl.

Why is the new discord server of this run, the private server of the community of the mod? Shouldn´t it be a dedicated one?

Don´t want to be rude, but i won´t be promoting anyone else server or comunnity, nor participating in there.
