Try to get the video with sound, there is no rule stating it needs sound, but your run may be rejected if there isn't any. Using a usb cable you should just be able to connect your phone to your laptop then copy the video over, it shouldn't take that long then you can just compress it as said above. There shouldn't be any issue with the audio not copying over
Instead of that, try to put your video through a video editor to compress the video size or if you don't have one then you can search for an online video compressor. Generally you just want to have the video watchable without changing anything.
Having a timer on screen is not required, people usually have it just to show the general pace of their run but it's not needed when submitting a run.
It would not be allowed as Nintendont isn't allowed for use in runs
the category "No Major Skips Any%" is bad please remove it :)
You have around 1s between each input. For future questions like this I'd recommend you ask in the discord linked in the side and at https://discord.gg/8BKC3US
The way that Krab's Duping works is each of the Hubs has its own Mr. Krabs with its own set of spatulas. It is only possible to duplicate spatulas by buying them from hub 3 then talking to hub 1 krabs to reset the counter then buying new spatulas from hub 2 thus making it impossible to dupe more than 8 spatulas currently however in the current route it is only fast to duplicate 1 spatula
The best way to record an Xbox One is using a Capture Card, however if you do not have onem if you have a USB Drive of 32GB in size or larger you can format it as NTFS and plug it into your xbox and then you will be able to record your xbox to the USB however this only records the game and cannot add anything else to your layout.
If you have a Windows 10 Computer of some sort and good internet you can also stream your Xbox's Screen to your pc which allows for higher quality and 60fps and would allow you to make a layout with something like OBS using a window capture
I was wondering if using a infinite lives cheat with a game genie is legal for 8-4 IL. I don't have an everdrive or powerpak so I can't use savestates and the input delay on my monitor is really bad so I cant run on emu. I assume it is since thats the only byte the code changes, but I just want to make sure since its not stated in the rules for the category
I was wondering if replacing the 72-Pin Cartridge Connector was allowed. I'm not very experienced with the NES so I don't know if replacing it affects anything with the games so was just wondering if I could
I think the SM64 community has a tutorial to make an n64 input display but im not exactly sure.
Most Games ban USB Loading due to it having faster loads so I'd find a game you want to run and if it states its allowed in the rules then you can run those games. You can still run the games you just can't submit them so if you get good at a game and want to then want to submit to the boards then I'd get a copy for it.
I've had problems with the C-Stick not working on Project64, so I just remapped it to the D-Pad. I would recommend just using a different controller as Gamecube controllers seem to just not work with it.
The Timer I used to use was FramePerfect, however it only lets you do 1 category if you don't pay, but it's 2 dollars so I'd say its worth it. However if you can I would recommend just using LiveSplit on PC
