For me, the timing for it goes along these lines:
- Position yourself at a far enough distance away from the Metro Cop
- Shoot your Pistol right before entering the Loading Trigger
- Right after you land the Headshot, pick up the Pistol.
As quoted by the any% Deltarune rules, "Modification of any game files are banned, with the exception of the music files. Modification of save files at any point during a run is banned."
While I was doing my first run (Without a Recording) this happened. For this run I wasn't recording until I got up to this point, so I wasn't able to show how to actually do this odd glitch.
Since it seems like the original link is now invalid, I made a new group for Disparity. Have Fun https://discord.gg/CUneRsW
Currently I'm waiting to get my Disparity Bad Ending run verified for the past 2 weeks. But it seems that the only Moderator, Pathermon, has been inactive for awhile. The last (Full Game) run he had was from over a Year Ago. His last video was from 11 Months Ago. https://www.speedrun.com/Disparity/full_game https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCy4o1dVi3YjczTur4v0O9-Q
I've noticed that it's allowed to pretty much ignore the 2nd Player in 2 Player Mode (I.E. Allowing the player to use 1 Joy Con) and it overall turns 2 Player Mode into a slower 1 Player Mode. For me 2 Player Mode should be changed to 2 categories, a Single Player 2 Player run, and a 2 Player Co-op run; and turn 2 Player Co-op into the main category. What would you think of this?
This would make sense to change, some games like Super Mario 64 have each type of way of playing SM64 on a mini list. (N64, VC and Emulator) and each version on how you play it can make a difference with some factors, and it would make sense to apply this to Crossy Road.
Just give it some time, i'll get verified sooner or later
