it is actually possible to get 134, although thats not likely to say the least. 132 is realistically the most you'll get, if you can get 10 xpos from 2 bumps. This was the strat done on runs before fpg and blazit were found, and it was known to be a nightmare for runners, since the pipe entry can also be really hard. tl;dr yeah but just do blazit
why is there pipeless for literally everything, why not just levels that utilize an optional pipe

they only benefit from personal preference. there are no direct advantages
delaying on the title screen effects enemy patterns due to the way the game handles "randomness". this won't effect your final time, since timing starts the frame you gain control of mario.
like everyone else said, I would recommend going for forwards 1 frame walljump. if you do 2 frame, then the timesaves that make up for it are undoubtably harder than 1 frame itself. if you really want like a .8 tho, i would recommend going 8-3 walljump setup, it's super consistent and pretty much guarantees hitting the pixel.

8-C means the speed of either your 8-4 or a specific room in 8-4. It is usually referred to when talking about 8-C walljump
