Shots Fired is an online speedrunning marathon exclusively for shooter games. This will be our fifth marathon. 

[big]**What counts as a shooter game?**[/big]

     ¤ If it has a gun, it is a shooter game. This includes FPS, TPS, and 2D games.
     ¤ If enemies have a gun, it will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
     ¤ If it is an alternative shooter such as a camera game, it will be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, more conventional shooters will be given priority.

You can submit any game you want, whether or not it meets this criteria. In the end, we'll decide whether or not it meets the theme of the marathon.

     ¤ Submissions: September 15 - October 20
     ¤ Cuts: October 22
     ¤ Schedule: October 29
     ¤ Marathon Dates: November 15-19

We will be doing submissions through speedrun.com. You can submit by clicking "Submit game" on the left of this page.

There is no limit on how many games or categories you can submit. Submissions will require a video of yours so that we can verify that your estimate is reasonable.

If enough submissions are received, we will extend the marathon dates to start earlier, up to the 12th.

Having a couple issues with the Favicons setting when changing a games theme:

1) If you go to my profile (http://www.speedrun.com/user/Shaddex/info) and look at the icon for The Wheel of Time and compare it to the icon currently active on the theme (http://www.speedrun.com/wot), they are different. The favicon curently selected in the theme is the one active on my profile, however it seems to be defaulting to the original favicon I tried out before altering it.

2) If I upload a new favicon to the Two Worlds page, it defaults back to the original image I uploaded, even after deleting or editing it. 

It seems like once you put an image up, the site saves that image and you can't change it, even after deletes or edits. Not sure if this is only viewable on my end, or on others as well.

Hey everyone! This is the first feedback thread we’ve done, and we would love to hear your input. Here are a few topics we’re interested in hearing about, but feel free to speak anything on your mind.

Submissions and Scheduling
 • How long do you think submissions should last? Is three weeks enough?
 • Which method of submitting do you prefer: Google Docs, SDA, Speedrun.com?
 • Would you prefer to submit your availability when submitting games, or closer to the marathon dates?

Games Selection
 • What games do you think fit the theme of Shots Fired? Should we continue including some ‘alternative shooters’ like Pokémon Snap and Fatal Frame, or should we be more strict? What should the limits be?

Layouts
 • How do you feel about the layouts, and how could they be improved?

Streaming
 • Do you prefer streaming to Beam or Hitbox?

Moving Forward
 • Currently, we are planning two Shots Fired Marathons per year. Would you prefer one a year, or is two good?
 • Do you have any ideas for what else we should do with the channel in-between marathons?
 • We currently do not accept donations. Would you prefer to accept donations for a charity, or for another reason like getting runners to events, or to stay as we are?]
