PC and Mobile are now seperated on the leaderboard! As for cosmetics, I'm going to allow cosmetics in speedruns, as some free skins (like the monkey) end up having the same/better jump lengths and speed than robux cosmetics. However there is a chance this changes in the future as new discoveries are made, so I highly advise that any future runs are done with free skins!

there are 2 discoveries that we made very recently, and I want to ask you guys how we should move forward.

1. runners on mobile can double jump faster than runners on PC, because mobile players have no debounce time for jumping. PC runners have to wait 0.3 seconds after their first jump to be able to jump again for a double jump, where mobile runners can do it with no restriction (which means they're realistically only waiting 0.1 seconds to double jump again). This is a roblox feature, not a pig 64 issue, which means this isn't getting fixed anytime soon.

2. Different skins and cosmetics have different hitboxes which means longer jumps with one skin may not be possible with another skin (ex: the frog skin sucks). This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that COSMETICS cost robux, and certain cosmetics(not all) give you an advantage (The police officer cosmetic can allow you to do jumps you wouldn't be able to do otherwise).

My suggestion to fixing this is adding subcategories for each level titled "Mobile" and "PC/Console, as well as banning the use of certain robux cosmetics for speedruns. I'd love to hear your feedback, and whether or not you guys agree with this decision. I'll likely implement them tomorrow.

1. if pig 64 adds a better way of resetting ur data for speedrun resets (like a button to wipe data or save slots) then we will definitely have an any% category for the full game.

2. I will probably not have a glitch category since the glitches will likely be patched in the near future.

It’s pretty hard to find glitches especially in a story mode and 2d game, there’s been bugs and soft locks found but that’s really about it

Good rules:

1. Click Counter for top runs, i think it's important to make sure autoclickers aren't being used, and it's very simple to set up anyway

2. All povs for WRs, although this rule is not as popular, it's very reasonable and it helps others see exactly what route was done in the wr, and forces runners to upload instead of just chilling and being carried.

3. Full session, it makes sense to see the skill of top runners, and it's not too hard to upload the raw file to youtube anyway, just takes a while.

Bad rules

1. In game Audio, I think this rule makes sense for all chapters, but for single maps it's just useless and stupid, and it's incredibly stupid if a 24th place run has click counter is in the video but if there's no in game audio the run gets rejected. This is not as important but, the culture of this community has always been to slap on music to a run for viewers to enjoy, no one wants to watch a run with normal in game audio that's boring lol

2. Allowing manual double clicking, this is just plain stupid, a software double clicker and a "manual double clicker" does effectively THE SAME THING. Either allow all types of double clicking or none. Manual double clicking is complete bull and unfair to those with a mouse that can't. A software double clicker would even out the playing field, or banning all types of double clicking outright would also even it out. And no, not all mouses can "manually double click" fyi. I think allowing all types of double clicking would be interesting, but that's up to the mods to decide, IT NEEDS TO BE DECIDED THOUGH.

3. The ping rule, this rule is terrible, it's just too much with already the amount of excessive rules there are. Imagine this. After 60 hours of streaming and grinding, you get a 1:10 house!! You have your full session on stream, your hand cam, in game audio all the way up, your cursor, and of course your click counter showing that you manually double click (Because no one is getting a 1:10 without "manual double click." It is completely clear that you did not splice, since you have your in game audio and full session to prove it (plus you were streaming), and it is completely clear that your clicking is legit because of the click counter and click sounds to prove it was you clicking and not an autoclicker. But oh no!! Your ping was not there. BY RULE this run would be rejected, even though if this run was achieved at any other time, it would be considered more than legit. The ping rule does effectively nothing, it's just a waste of space.

P.S. Fix and organize the rules, they look incredibly overwhelming for new players.

i would say a lot of swear words but i'm really disappointed in the amount of cheaters there are right now

i no longer wish to mod a game infested with these kind of people but i will still run occasionally i guess

@halfliterrr just be patient with your run being verified it's not that big of a deal to wait a week or two, we literally have 4k runs in queue at the moment and despite all the mod team being volunteers, we're still working hours a day to try to handle it. Us verifiers have lives too :')

@REAL_NoobGrinder0 actually book 1 usually gets more runs than book 2 which is why the leaderboard is more active than the book 2 one. Anyway there's a few reasons that contribute to why not as many people play anymore. One's that the game doesn't update anymore so there's nothing new. Another is that school started again, and many runners now have to go to real life school rather than staying virtual while lockdown happened. Personally I stopped actively running to better focus in school and other interests of mine (sports, etc.). Anyway don't judge people who run because they just want to have fun :)

Apologies for not verifying for the past two weeks! A lot's been happening in my life recently as well as school, and I haven't had much time to verify runs. Getting them all verified right now, I also might add a new verifier for book 2 to help out. Good luck runners! Hope y'all understand
