Didnt realize that some of the effects were that major. In that case, if there are any effect beyond layout, I think it should be separate variables, but anything minor like store layout should be up to the runner.
IMO if someone is able to figure out the effects of the sliders then any setting should be allowed, as we can all use them.
What would be considered "default"? The settings used in the base save file, all right setting?
(this was posted on the series page, but no-one saw it in like a week so I'll ask here) If me and my buddy were to do a speedrun of the Wings of Liberty Co-op mod on the arcade, would a sr.c leaderboard likely be accepted? Of course, it would have to be IGT due to the multiplayer nature and, while it is complete, it still has a few bugs. Although, more far-out games have been accepted.

About livesplit - this is not specific to factorio and applies to all RTA runs - it is unnessesary, but helpful. Times are always calculated later, so it is only for you to keep track and to get a rough estimate of how good your run was before you go through the trouble of calculating the time. You will not get rejected for not using livespit or any other timing method as long as you submit the correct time.

I'm not a mod, but I do agree with these changes. I do have two questions:

Won't this increase your already high work load during this time?

How will you give suspects a fair chance to explain themselves if all you can reasonably rely on is what the moderator says is proof? You simply wouldn't have the time to research each game's technical aspects individually on a website this large, especially if this rule change is to crack down on chronic cheaters. It seems too easy to jump to conclusions if you're working across multiple game leaderboards.
Suggestion for a new catagory: New game plus, one playthrough Timing starts at gaining control after starting NG+ Timing ends on any ending Only one previous playthrough is allowed Example:
Is it possible to edit a game request? I don't see an option too but I didn't poke around because I didn't want to withdraw it and send it to the bottom of the stack.
I want to edit the video link, because I made a better quality video. Does that even matter, or are the videos just there to prove the games speedrun viability?
