The pro to run/wr/game farming is that you end up running a lot of different games you probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. While I was farming fgwrs, I had to push myself out of my comfort zone in order to find new games to run, and I ended up having a lot of fun running those games.
However, a lot of farmers, especially those who are near the top of the leaderboards, don't really benefit from running new varieties of games because they spend as little time as possible running/playing the game, so they can spend more time running other games. Most of the time, when a farmer submits a run to a game I mod, it's a run of a single level, and it's usually close to last place, or a trivial tied world record. I genuinely don't see the fun in that.
That doesn't go for all farmers though. Comrade_S has been running Mobility a lot lately and has put a lot of effort into the game. He's improved his PBs multiple times, gotten feedback on how to improve his runs, and submitted times to many levels, including hard ones that take practice to learn. It genuinely makes me happy to see another person enjoying the game. I guess another pro of farming is that it can bring activity to games that would otherwise be very dead.
Speedstats.app still isn't objective and can only use the data from a speedrun.com leaderboard to assign values to a game. The "quality" ranking isn't a good idea
Ok, here's the file path to get to the save data:
*appdata is a hidden folder, so just search for %appdata% to get to that folder
Open up the file for whichever save file you want in notepad, and then scroll until you find the section where it says: saveroom=
change the number after the = to either 50, for final boss old, or 56, for move platf
You can't exit out of the level if you modify the save this way, so if you want to keep playing the game on that file, you'll have to modify the file again to be in a different room
The levels that we added are not mods, they are levels in the actual game. The "debug" levels can be accessed via the secret "debug room" which you can enter by going back to the first room in the beginning after beating the game, and then walljumping up the left wall. The levels, "final boss old" and "move platf" can only be accessed by manually editing the save file, as they were not included in the final release of the game. I forget what the level IDs are and the file path to the save data are, so I will edit this post later with proper instructions.
I can’t imagine someone, completely new to speedrunning seriously, (not some bullshit like subway surfers, “granny”, or some random stick rpg game) and say “WOW! It’s the guy who is active on the forums!” Like sorry but there’s no reality where this will happen.
You'd be surprised
Not trying to say that forum posters are famous btw, if you want someone famous to draw just go to any active game and draw the wr holder for its main category or something.
The glitches don't impact the run very much, so there is no glitchless category. Even if I did add one, there aren't many runners of this game and the category would just be very inactive.

I really enjoy speedrunning this game, and it would make me very happy if more people ran it.
