Im not really sure about the idea, especially considering that multi mode would become near impossible to do All Apples.

I meant it was obstructed. We need to see the whole screen throughout the run to accept it.

I personally use OBS. If your computer can handle running OBS, then it can record for as long as you want.

In most situations, changes to the rules in Google Snake Speedruns will be applied to Category Extension. Please check the linked thread for updates. Also feel free to read the other main forums, it may have answers to your questions!

From now on, ALL RUNS SUBMITTED MUST BE SCREEN RECORDED ONLY. This means any runs recorded using a camera from a second device will now be rejected. This is because it is much harder to check validity and timing of the runs.

You can still record and cut footage. So someone could randomise many times but only show the last 5 in the actual editted run. I just feel like this category will have loopholes to get around the rules. Not a bad suggestion tho

I believe this mode can be heavily exploited due to edits and selection. You say they can click the randomiser button but they could just start recording the run when they get a favourable mode. Might as well choose which mode they want to play this category.

Begging for a moderation role does the opposing effect of putting us off. A moderation role is one with responsibilities so we are not willing to hire anyone who thinks they can just walk in and expect a role. It is also incredibly annoying when a thread forum is opened asking for mod role as everyone following the game would receive the notification, not just us. Also, emphasising Yarmiplay's point, we will have future moderation application processes BUT ONLY WHEN NECESSARY. If it is not open, it means that the current team works and no change is required (including addition of mods).

Most of the runs uses a mouse input but I found out the number keys can also be used to play. Can I use the number keys or is any% hintless restricted to mouse only?

For highscore runs - 1, 3 and 5 apples refer to number of apples on the board at one time. It is not "who can eat one apple the fastest". It's a highscore board but needed altering to allow players to enter scores. Dont get it mixed!!!
