Old Patch has a few small, accumulative differences, the main thing was it being on an unofficial English translation that lacked the "Move while seated" textbox. Even though it has 0.13s more text from getting effects compared to Steam, it saves 0.6s back in Any% from not having the one for chair.
I wasn't there for any of it but what I've gathered from reading old messages is speedrun.com got to a point of being especially irritating to work with as a game moderator (I sort of recall this update being really annoying and I think they fixed some stuff since then but idk) that they were preparing to jump ship to a google sheet. A lot of progress was made on that but I think it was actually merging the categories into one Any% board that created a roadblock, apparently some runs had to be resubmitted after a failed attempt at changing the boards and it seems it ended up being dropped altogether. I only just recently got added as a mod which I wasn't even expecting but gladly accepted so now I'm essentially the only mod who still engages with the game outside of verifying runs. I've got some ideas for cleaning things up a little more but I'd still want to run these things by the few runners who still talk in the Discord occasionally, at the same time though I'm so new to the scene that I don't want to be too pushy so there's still a bit that hasn't left the idea phase. Sorry I took so long to reply, I wanted to have more to offer than "idk lol"

I think you just had the 11:28 23 phase and I have fixed that, if you had anything else then feel free to resubmit
@xDuosionare Sorry I'm 5 months late to this, the invite definitely works but the verification level for the server was set a bit high so that should be fixed now. If you still can't join, make sure your account has a verified email.

The Discord linked on this page has been updated from the old server that has long since stopped being used seriously to a more recently made one that is completely centered around RTA/full game runs. If you are also interested in IL/individual level runs, we have a new server for that too.

I'm the one with the terrible pc, I used lag abuse to get some times when I stumbled upon it and it happened to show more why small tile categories are not a great idea. Before that though I got the 256 tile in under 4 seconds long before I got an ok 2048 time
it used to be a category but was deleted along with everything that was 1024 and below
game over was another category removed along with the small tiles Edit: I had this tab open for like an hour or two and didn't see eners already mentioned what I said so to add to this, small tiles are extremely easy to abuse lag for really low times which is how I got some "records" when those categories still existed.
Those used to be categories on here but they've since been removed thankfully
As far as I know every m&m is the same gameplay-wise I just use green because it's funny
