Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone can help give me any tips, tricks, or stategies to help me get better at Donkey Kong Jr. for the arcade. I can get through the vines stage and the chains stage and complete level 1 but I can't get through the level 2 stages. I can get lucky and make it through the level 2 vines stage but the level 2 springboard stage is where i get stuck. I can notice a pattern with the birds when I am at the bottom of the stage but once I get to the top it looks like the pattern changes and I can't figure it out. Sometimes I get lucky and make it through but then I die on the level 2 chains stage. I have yet to make it to level 3.

When I was learning to play Donkey Kong, I had found a very good video diving deep into the optimal strategies for every stage and how to influence/control the barrels and fires. I had tried finding something similar for Donkey Kong Jr. but i havent found anything. The closest thing I found was watching other people's high score and speedrun video proofs and try to minic that. But that obviously isn't working for me. So if anyone can help point me in the right direction to where i can learn to better my game, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
