Can confirm this is a thing, though sometimes a normal restart does not fix it, and you have to instead quit out of the game and reload from a typewriter - not sure on the consistency.

Interestingly enough, 30 FPS allows you to do some pretty interesting dodges like running through enemies as they are attempting to attack you. This is only in specific spots, though.

Feels faster this way, yes. For added spice, I tend to cycle between shotgun and sniper for boss fights for even more damage. I snipe, cancel, swap to shotty, shoot, swap to sniper, repeat.

Jesus this explains everything. I've killed her a few times on VoS, and wondered why 1 kill was way faster in spite my using LESS ammo. This is amazing, and it frees up soooooo much ammo.

Unfortunately I do not have a recording of this as it was off OBS. During the indoor section of Stronghold leading up to Urias (hammer bro), I flashbang stunned the first armored Lycan to drop down, and this apparently caused all other enemies to go dormant.

Have not been able to replicate, but basically nothing else spawned. I saved at the typewriter before Urias. As I expected, Urias also did not spawn. Restarting did nothing, but loading directly from the typewriter fixed it and let Urias spawn. If replicated, you could potentially just bypass the gauntlet without using anything and then force spawn Urias with a reload, saving supplies and collecting whatever you want in the meantime.

Should probably mentioned this was while practicing Village of Shadows.

Can confirm the window strat. I am practicing NG village of shadows runs and it does appear to bug them out when they get off the door and you stick near the window. For me I managed to stay in the first house until big hammer guy came.

Ran out of the basement exit to second house and barricaded. Once the hammer bro reached the door and I shot the lycan off it, they just stayed at the window and repeatedly tried jumping into it. Hammer bro can't break the barricade, and he seems to block half the door so only 1 lycan can get near it...might have something to do with it.

For anyone using shotty, definitely avoid that. You want to rely on the handgun for delaying and save the shotty rounds.
