#What's a race?

A race in speedrunning is an event where you run in direct competition with others simultaneously. In this case the race will be about the Category Trevor% since it's the most speedruned category and the one that most people will run.

#When will be this race?

We've decided that the best moment to do the race is the Friday 26th at 5pm (UTC).

#How can I join the race?

First of all you have to register at SRL, here's a guide of @TKM: https://www.speedrun.com/gtav/guide/ubv35, and also you have to be at the discord server preferably 30m before the race starts: https://discord.gg/vdHZtaV.

#What are the rules of the race?

• Mission fail during prologue before the race starts, then hit restart when race officially starts (If you want to use the autosplitter to start your timer, make sure to mission fail by missing the guard)

• Everyone starts at the same time, there is no resetting even if you mission fail in prologue, thats what racing is about.

• We will use http://www.speedrunslive.com/ for starting the race and gathering the times. Please refer to this guide and set up your things PRIOR to the race so that we don't have to waste any time.

• You can participate without streaming your run but if you end up in the top 5 you will have to provide proof of your time through a video, else your time won't be saved on this sheet.

• Discord voice is OPTIONAL. I'll set up a channel where no one else other than people racing can join if you want to talk to each other during the race. Reloe will however coordinate the start of the race through the text channel & using speedrunslive together with everyone's livesplit.

#I can't join to this race, will there be another one?

Yes, we're planning to do some kind of season with one race each month. If you want to make sure that you'll participate in the next race, join to the discord server (https://discord.gg/vdHZtaV), there we'll set up a date and hour so that everyone can participate.

A timer is not required, however if you could add a timer with a video editor it would be easier for the mods to verify your time. So prioritize recording the game and then add a timer with any video editor.

Hi, I'd like to ask for a promotion in the game "New Star Soccer", although I'm already a Verifier of the game, I deserve more than that: I improved all the runs more than anyone else, I posted more guides than anyone else, I provided more resources than anyone else, etc. But when I try to ask to the only Super mode "SpiderHako", he just ignores all my messages. Hi, I'd like to report that the moderators of the game Papers Please are very inactive. I submitted a run 2 months ago but no one did verify it. The run is 1:30 minutes long so the problem isn't that. I also tried to contact 2 of the mods but I got no answer. I'm not asking to be a mod of the game since I don't really know how to run it, I just would like someone to talk to the actual mods or find someone active to replace them. Thanks in advance

I'd like to propose to change the established rules for the category Hooker% (GTAV). A few months ago, the rules for the miscellaneous categories where you don't finish the game changed so you could skip prologue and start from an auto save file in Franklin & Lamar. I think that this would be a good change since there isn't any strategies that are hard to do or that are specially used in this category. I already retimed the leaderboard and it would be like this:

Yes, that's true. I tried to run it but after 3 hours I had only played 87 matches, and one of the awards is play 1000 matches. I think that you could replace it though, you could add a "Miscleanous" category with runs like $10.000, 100 goals, etc.

I have a proposal, since it is not established in the rules, I do not know if it is allowed to buy coins, boots or NRG drinks in a 100% run. I would like you to post what you think about this, in the meanwhile, I'll asume that's allowed. Thanks in advance

I splitted all the awards in four categories, Random Awards (Trophies that are very hard to get on purpose), Easy Awards (Awards that you'll get eventually by just playing the game or you’ll get them easy if you want), Once in a career Awards (Awards that can only be completed once, and if you ge transfered to another club or something like that you won’t be able to complete them in that career) and the Hard Awards (All the awards left)

If you think it this way, we just have to map 32 awards (out of 102) what makes it much easier than I thought. I’ll be figuring out how to complete this awards as fast as possible and thinking new strats to improve the run. I’ll be posting everything that I come up with, any help would be wonderful.
