To perform the glitch, hold the weapon you want to smuggle in your hand. Set down a shock emitter and activate it. Walk into the shock emitter and at the same time, use the d-pad menu to drop the weapon that you have equipped. It might take a few attempts. There are a lot of weird effects of this glitch, but nothing useful that I can find. DO NOT do this with a weapon that you care about. It will be deleted. I lost a Savage Lynel Crusher that way.
