Game settings for speedrunning

• Subtitles : Off - A lot of cutscenes can be skipped faster by mashing A instead of pressing the skip button. This however requires the subtitles to be turned off to prevent the game from slowing down trying to load them.
    • Speaker : Off - Same as above
    • Text Speed : Instant
    • Battle Animation : Off - “Battle animation” refers to a small animation a character has before using a Class Strike or a Summon.
    • Rotation Mini-map : On ? - This one is really up to you. I just adding it in here because some people use it for any% Slide Boosts setups.
    • Dash options : Constant - This way you press dash once and always stay in run mode for the whole duration of the run.
    • Max Frame rate : 120 FPS - As explained in Version differences with higher fps you can jump higher and make the ledge jumps easier.

Version/Platform differences

Version differences :
Version 1.0.0 : Initial release
Version 1.0.1 : Removal of Denuvo from the game. Speeds up load times by a lot.
Version 1.1.0 : New NG+ exclusive difficulties added to the game (Expert and No Future). A cap of 10 uses for each serum type has been added to the game. Class change cutscenes are now skippable
Version 1.1.1 : Nothing major, just a fix of a save-corruption bug.

Platform differences :
Load times : Console runs cannot compete in terms of load times compared to a good PC. Runs made on Nintendo Switch being even slower than PS4.
FPS Cap : The FPS is capped at 30 on Switch, 60 on PS4 and 120 on PC. This is kind of important to note due to how the physics of the game react to it. The most notable example is : the higher your FPS the higher you can jump. This means that Ledge Skips are harder to do on console (some may even not be possible).
Backpatching : There is currently no way to get back to previous versions on consoles. This only matters for any% where you can abuse serums through duping and get absurd amounts of stats.
