Hello, and welcome to my Any% guide to Transformers. This guide is for new players to learn the most optimal route as of the current date. It's also for common speedrunners to try and improve their time with better strategies. Keep in mind these are not IL tutorials but segments of a full game speedrun, so the routeing may be changed for the IL counterpart.

So lets start with Amazon, the timing should start when you select the difficulty.

First, choose Hotr Shot as your character, because he is the fastest. Then enter Amazon. Instead of going the intended way forward up the rocks, you should turn around and go backward until you find you can't go any further. Look left and you should see a small rock you can stand on underneath a ledge. Your going to perform a glitch called a car jump. Run right against the wall and press triangle to transform. Then, as soon as you begin to descend from the height you gain from transforming, transform back. If you did it correctly, you will gain a lot of upward height, allowing you to land on the ledge above. Your then going to drive forward-left from there. Keep driving, keeping right and you should end up at a tight ledge next to the river. Once you find the next clearing after that, head right and you should be at where the bridge meets the road to mountain ruin. You will be coming back here so keep this in mind. Go left of the mountain track and you should reach a river crossroad. Use momentum from untransforming to reach the other island. Drive forward until you reach a datacon. Right after it, there should be a hill that you seemingly cannot access. Your goal is to get up the hill. Simply put, you can just drive up the hill, but you need to do it on a specific part of the left corner of the hill (it should look like an orangey-dirt colour). If you did it right, and untransform at the top, you should stay on the top. Congratulations you are currently in an unintended area. Keep driving forward to claim your first Minicon, Firefight. Now drive back in the other direction until you go back to the bridge area. There is a rock at the base of the bridge that you can jump up on at the right angle. Now the route continues as normal until you reach the part where you're supposed to make a sharp right. Keep going straight toward the cave entrance in front and claim the Claymore Minincon. Do not equip it as it is useless in the run and is only collected so we can unlock Cybertron at the end of the game. Then go back to the sharp right turn and go left up the hill instead. Once you begin your descent (driving btw), be careful to route carefully as you may hit a tree. As soon as you are about to fall off the ledge and into the ravine, Untransform to keep forward momentum and if done correctly you should make it to the other side. Collect and equip your third Minicon, Deflector. Continue going up until you reach Mountain Ruin. There, grab and equip the Flashbang. Go to the rightmost corner on the wall in front and position yourself on top of a little piece of texture. It's possible to car jump up this wall up to the next section, but if you are not comfortable doing this just go around. Don't forget to grab the warp gate as you jump into the loading zone for the boss fight against the heavy unit. The best way to kill it quickly is to deliver fully charged shots from the Firefight, while preventing his missile cycles with stunning Flashbang Rockets. The fight should be done in about 30 seconds. Once back in HQ, immediately go to the next world, Antarctica...
