Not a mod but do know that emulators are allowed as well as actual NES consoles. As for the arcade version. Here is the link to it for speedrun.com. https://www.speedrun.com/tmnt1989arcade Emulators are allowed as well and as is direct feed from arcade cab if you have the equipment.

NES emulators are allowed for sure. I actually have a real console setup / Everdrive and very rarely I use an emulator to run this game instead. My previous PB was emulator actually, but this last one was real console. :)
