As you may know, it's no longer possible to buy this game on Steam and you can only get the Director's Cut version. Everyone who's bought the game before the release of that version got the Director's Cut version for free and will be still able to download the older version.

As of now, I'm trying to run through the Director's Cut game, I'm in chapter 6 and here's the differences I noticed. As of now, I can say the experience has been much slower than the older version. It will definitely receive a new category as it can't compare to the old version.

• Can't run after reloading checkpoints
• Forced into a tutorial for herbalism and you make a pointless potion
• Can't dupe herbalism materials
• QTEs have buggy inputs (sometimes you have to click more times for them to register)
• New potion recipe that you're forced to pick up (1x henbane, 1x devil's trumpet, 1x mandrake) is unlocked in the first section with enemies, this supposedly allows you to have an easier time in the hostile locations, not really sure if this can help much. Doesn't prevent the jumping enemies from attacking at all, so the only problem we currently have with enemies is not resolved with this.
